Tour Itinerary:
The Viet Adventures Jeep Tour team will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter. You’ll be welcomed by your guide and driver at the lobby or designated meeting point for a safety briefing before embarking on your adventure.
1, First Part of the Tour:
Visit the Hanoi Opera House, the largest theater in Vietnam, known for its historical and architectural significance. It's also an important venue for cultural events.
Experience the REAL HANOI through the daily lives of locals. Explore hidden parts of the city like narrow alleyways, backstreets, local homes, markets, and more. Unlike other tours that focus only on the city's beautiful aspects, we offer a more complete view by exposing you to both the charming and gritty sides of Hanoi.
2, Second Part of the Tour:
Drive past the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, one of Vietnam’s most sacred sites, where the body of the late leader is preserved for public viewing, symbolizing national unity.
Continue along Thanh Nien Street, one of Hanoi’s most picturesque roads, lined by two serene lakes.
Visit Banana Island, just 3-4 km from the city center, offering a striking contrast with its rural scenery. You’ll have the chance to explore local farms, chat with residents, and taste organic tropical fruits and homemade green tea.
Explore peaceful villages around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, where the contrast between urban and rural life is particularly striking.
Visit the Van Nien Pagoda, a 1,000-year-old Buddhist site that’s one of Hanoi’s oldest and most revered temples.
3, Third Part of the Tour:
As we drive through the city, you’ll pass Hoang Hoa Tham Street, famous for its beautiful bonsai trees and vibrant flowers.
The Jeep will take you through hidden alleys, where you can experience a quieter, less-visited side of Hanoi, including a stop at the B52 Memorial, a site commemorating the American bomber shot down during the war. Along the way, you’ll also see the contrast between Hanoi’s old charm and its bustling, modern skyscrapers.
4, Final Part of the Tour:
Hanoi Train Street is a small street completely separated from the noisy city with a row of small, simple old houses combined with the echoing sound of trains, which is a special feature that attracts tourists. Although only about 2km long, this Hanoi Train Street has become a unique tourist destination with the ancient, rustic and simple beauty of Hanoi with cafes and food stalls on both sides and the train tracks in the middle... Since its first appearance in the British newspaper Daily Mail in April 2014, Train Street has become a tourist destination that foreigners cannot miss when coming to Vietnam..
Thank you so much and see you again!

The famous Hanoi Train-street is part of our itinerary. We know how, when, and where to show you the train street and have a coffee while watching the train pass by.
3. What happens if it rains?
Weather is not a concern for our Jeep tour, we got soft-roof. We conduct tours no matter the rain or sunshine. In case it rains, we do provide rain ponchos for you.
4. Do we go INSIDE the tourist attractions?
Our focus is NOT entirely on the tourist attractions. On this tour, we don’t go INSIDE the attractions, but instead, we will take you to the HIDDEN GEMS and HARD-TO-FIND places that show you the REAL Hanoi. We spend our time taking you off the beaten path and to the less frequently visited sites, showcasing the authentic Hanoi that you cannot discover on your own.
During the tour, we PASS BY & DRIVE PAST some of the iconic landmarks where we pause for photos. The tour is catered to offer a unique experience for our guests that showcase Hanoi from a different angle. If any attraction interests you, you can always revisit the place on your own and spend as long as you’d like.
